Google Scholar shows 705 articles when searching using the search phrase ‘Amazon Mechanical Turk’.
And that is since January 2015.
Wow. Kind of amazing the scope of research using MTurk. On the first page alone, we see articles where the data was obtained from MTurk (on topics including mental health, medical decision making, group communication processes, imagery and body satisfaction, and impressions of abstract art) and data about MTurk (Crowdworkers and organization and reliability analyses). And moving on to the second page, we find articles using MTurk panels to study stress and sexual behavior, fashion, and well being of minorities as well as papers about how MTurk can be used to crowdsource interpretations of medical information.
